These convenient, easy to use pads use Arbutase (enzyme activated Arbutin) to even skin tone and reduce hyperpigmentation and melasma. This potent combination also includes kojic acid, salicylic acid, vitamin C and green tea. Kojic acid and vitamin C brighten the skin and protect it from free radical damage and green tea reduces dryness and irritation. Salicylic acid exfoliates dead skin cells and clarifies the skin. KojiSal Pads are mixed fresh at time of purchase to provide the best efficacy. It is convenient and easy to use on both the face as well as broad areas of the body. KojiSal Pads are free of retinoids and steroids. Patients may use nightly or on alternating nights with a retinoid product for optimum results. Pads may turn brown after time and have a shelf life (after compounding) of up to 90 days. KojiSal Pads are appropriate for any patients with hyperpigmentation or melasma and also acne patients with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
